Unleash your inner warrior at “The Mad Mudder” – A charity event to combat prostate cancer

Nuclear Wild Forest, Brentwood, Sunday 10th September – Gear up for an adrenaline-pumping adventure at The Mad Mudder – an exciting charity event organised by Prost8 UK, a Southend-based charity dedicated to combating the overtreatment of prostate cancer. This thrilling challenge will be held at the Nuclear Wild Forest in Brentwood on Sunday, September 10th.

The Mad Mudder promises to be a day full of fun (and mud), offering participants a chance to test their endurance or take their time while contributing to a noble cause. Participants will brave a series of obstacles, including the death slide…

The event serves a dual purpose: promoting physical health and raising crucial funds to support Prost8 UK’s mission to put a stop to the over-treatment of prostate cancer. With prostate cancer being one of the leading health concerns for men, Prost8 UK works tirelessly to provide support, awareness, and minimally invasive treatment units in this critical area of healthcare.

Registration for The Mad Mudder is live, and participants can secure their spot by paying a nominal entry fee of £10. To make an impact, participants are asked to raise a minimum pledge of £100, which will directly contribute to the funds raised for Prost8 UK.

“We are so excited to launch our newest event, The Mad Mudder. It is a great way to get involved with the charity and have fun while fundraising. We look forward to seeing lots of faces there and hope to make this an annual event,” said Georgina Stallard, Head of Marketing at Prost8 UK. “This challenging and fun-filled event is not only an opportunity to push your physical boundaries but also to join hands in the fight against prostate cancer. We believe that with the support of our participants and sponsors, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by this disease.”

Paul Sayer, founder of Prost8, says “Being 5 years clear after minimally invasive treatment, I want to spread the message far and wide that men with low to medium-grade prostate cancer could avoid radical treatment. Events like this help us to achieve that aim.”

Whether you’re a seasoned fitness enthusiast or simply looking for a weekend filled with adventure and camaraderie, The Mad Mudder will be an unforgettable weekend for everyone there.

For those who wish to support the cause but cannot attend the event, you can contribute to The Mad Mudder JustGiving page or donate directly through the website at prost8.org.uk. This way, anyone from anywhere can help to make a meaningful impact.

Join us in raising awareness and much-needed funds for Prost8 UK, while challenging yourself in the wild terrain of Nuclear Wild Forest. Let’s unite in the battle against prostate cancer and make The Mad Mudder a roaring success!
