The 24 hour 304 cycle

304 are holding a 24 hour cycle at 304 studio in Birmingham on the 24th of April 2022.This is in memory of Owen Long, and to fund raise money for the charity “Man Up“. A minimum of 850 miles will be cycled with plenty of other activities and fun events along the ride.

The company wants to raise awareness and money in memory of Owen Long who was a good friend of everyone involved at 304. He sadly committed suicide earlier this year. The brand has chosen to fund raise for the charity “Man Up”. “Man Up” is a charity to change peoples thoughts, opinions and minds about men and mental health. The adopted term of ‘MAN UP’ as we know it, needs to be challenged. Time for 304 to ride for this mission.

125 lives are lost every week to suicide and 75% of all UK suicides are male. It’s time to take action to encourage people to take the journey to talk about mental health. For this fund raiser over 35 cyclists will complete 1 hour cycles, each with the aim to complete a minimum of 850 miles over the 24 hours. This event isn’t just for 304 it’s open for anyone to participate in! Digital Cake Agency, and I Love Brum are only the start of businesses and charities jumping on the saddle to get involved.

The challenge will start at 10am on April 24th and complete at 10am on Monday 25th. There will be DJ’S/Music/ food and even yoga classes throughout the day. Any support via social media or in person would be a huge help to keep the cyclists going and energy levels high.
