Synonymous sports marketing and events agency hosts a thrilling ‘An Evening of Boxing’ in support of the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity

Synonymous, the innovative new sports marketing and events agency founded in Essex, successfully hosted its inaugural event, ‘An Evening of Boxing,’ in early 2023 at the prestigious Braxted Park in Witham. The event, organised in support of the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity, showcased top aspiring fighters from the Eastern Counties Boxing Association and London Amateur Boxing Association in an electrifying night of sporting excellence and philanthropy.

Within the stunning pavilion of Braxted Park, more than 350 enthusiastic guests from across Essex and London gathered to witness 12 adrenaline-pumping fights between the region’s best boxing talents. The premium marque which housed the ring created an intimate and immersive experience for the attendees, who enjoyed a delightful three-course meal and access to bar facilities throughout the evening.

The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the incredible fundraising efforts that totalled an impressive £3,329.25 raised for the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity. This significant sum will provide complementary therapy treatment to 66 local individuals currently battling cancer, offering them much-needed support and comfort during their journey to recovery.

In a heartfelt response to the overwhelming success of the event, Kate Alden, CEO of the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity, stated, “We are incredibly grateful to Synonymous and everyone involved in ‘An Evening of Boxing.’ This remarkable fundraising effort will undoubtedly make a positive impact on the lives of cancer patients in our community.”

Darrell Fox, Founder of Synonymous, shared his vision behind the agency, saying, “Our mission is to host top-quality sporting events predominantly in Essex, while also raising funds for exceptional local causes. After working in some of the largest sports clubs in the county for the past 15 years, I knew that the Essex community had a profound love for sports. ‘An Evening of Boxing’ marks the beginning of our journey to bring more thrilling events to our great county while making a positive impact on the community.”

Synonymous is all set to continue its commitment to the Essex community with its upcoming event, ‘An Evening with Harry Redknapp,’ hosted by Ronnie Irani at Braxted Park on the 9th of November. This special occasion promises to once again unite the community for a cause, raising funds for the Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation.

Synonymous will be hosting next year’s event at Braxted Park in Witham on Thursday, March 7th, 2024. Given the tremendous success of our first event, which was completely sold out, we encourage anyone interested in attending to register their interest now by visiting https://www.becomesynonymous.com/events.

The success of ‘An Evening of Boxing’ was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Spartan FX and the Allen Motor Group, both active supporters of charitable causes within the Essex community. Their contribution has further bolstered the agency’s mission to deliver impactful events and provide vital support to local charities.
