But that is not the end of it, the Gatwick Diamond Business Awards has also recognised Acumen’s own Operations Director, Daniel Richards and listed him as a finalist for the Employee of the Year Award. Daniel’s story is one of perseverance, business acumen (pun intended) and loyalty. Daniel was merely taken on for a one-year placement, barely out of his studies, to carry out some administrative work. With most people it would have started and ended there, but not with Daniel. He took it upon himself to revolutionise the firm’s operations and went above and beyond to initiate innovative systems. Despite his humble beginning, he progressed and was appointed as an Office Manager and then as an Operations Director of the firm sitting on the board and making strategic decisions firm-wide.
