Sales Fuel open new purpose-built 7,330 square foot office utilising Yorkshire’s biggest ‘Solar Wall’ to power their 30+ strong team

Sales Fuel, a marketing performance and lead generation agency based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire, have moved into brand new, purpose-built offices.  The offices, located at the historic St.Pegs Mill, Brighouse, is powered by Yorkshire’s biggest ‘Solar Wall’.  The new office houses a 30+ strong team including their contact centre, business development team, marketing team, paid media team, Directors and HR department, all while being as energy efficient as possible with the help of the ‘Solar Wall’.

Utilising the third floor of the Grade 1 listed building at St.Pegs Mill, a space that had previously been home to Ploughcroft who won investment from Dragon’s Den (Deborah and Theo) back in 2012, and currently homes the award winning Resin Mill, BPM Tech (Recruitment), Iconic (kids’ gymnastics and play gym), Q Gen (Air Source and Ground Source Heat Pump specialists), Yorkshire Kidney Research Fund, and Wiley Accessories, the mill is home to Yorkshire’s biggest ‘Solar Wall’ which powers the mill helping keep tenants carbon footprints as low as possible.

The mill was also home to companies that helped build the Duracell and Zanussi brands and previously had a ‘Green Wall’ that was replaced by the ‘Solar Wall’ ensuring more energy efficiency.  This, on top of the existing Solar Panels installed onto the mills roof, make it arguably one of the most up-to-date historical buildings in Yorkshire when it comes to being as carbon neutral as possible.

Sales Fuel invite readers to come and enjoy a tour of their new 7,330 square foot office on SATURDAY 7th OCTOBER at 10AM at ST. PEGS MILL, BRIGHOUSE, HD6 4AU. Attendees will be able to ask questions, take photographs and see their new office and ‘Solar Wall’ in action. A Q&A with Simeon Yianni, Head of Marketing, will also take place. PLEASE RSVP TO THIS INVITATION BY FRIDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER SO WE CAN CATER FOR YOUR ATTENDANCE.

On the same day, Sales Fuel is hosting a recruitment day for their call centre (SATURDAY 7thOCTOBER) from 11am.  Applicants can attend the open day interview session and Sales Fuel are looking to hire several new employees for their call centre as they expand further utilising the space their new office brings.

Director Ben Rattle commented saying, “The office has been in the works for just over a year now and is an absolute dream for us as a business and for our employees.  You can really feel the difference with regards to culture as you walk around.  This space is such an open plan, up-to-date office compared to where we previously housed our staff.  We’ve even treated our staff to a breakout area with table tennis, golf chipping, dart board and top of the range kitchen facilities so they can enjoy their time at work even more!  One member of staff told me he wants to live here but we told him it’s never going to happen!

“We’ve grown as a company so much over the last year and gone from 10 staff to around 38 currently and the plan is to hire more over the next six months to fill the office to around a 100 strong workforce.  We hope that a host of these hires will come from the recruitment open day we’re holding here on the 7th October. We’ve never done recruitment like this before and are excited to open up our office to new faces and potential employees!  Our training gives every applicant a chance to join our team so anyone who comes has an excellent chance to start a great new career with us!

“The ‘Solar Wall’ has been in the works for some time.  We’re ecstatic that it will be used to power the offices. With the business we’re in – generating leads for several solar installers and working so closely to suppliers within the industry – it made perfect sense to put our money where our mouth is and install the very product we specialise in in our own office!  Fun fact – the ‘Solar Wall’ generates 6,000 kWh of renewable energy a year.  Put that alongside the existing solar roofs situated on Mill 1 and Mill 2 that both generate 35,000 kWh and 50,000 kWh respectively a year and, together, they help massively to tackle running costs in the office.  This is the equivalent of around 21,000 KGs of coal burnt or around 5,000,000 mobile phones charged!  Not only that but it looks great and is a real talking point for new and existing clients when they visit.  It really stands out.”

Spread the good news!
