Chapter, the Edgbaston-based restaurant, is set to welcome high-profile guests from the cricket world this summer.
The Greenfield Crescent venue will celebrate The Ashes coming to Edgbaston with two exciting special events hosted with former cricketers – a star batsman and a world beating fast bowler.
On Thursday June 15th, the eve of England taking on Australia, Graham Gooch – one of the most successful international batsmen of his generation and one of England’s most prolific run scorers of all time – will host a 4 course dinner.
The event has a 7.30pm start and costs £75 per person (plus VAT).
Then, on Saturday 17th June, Devon Malcolm (pictured), considered the fastest bowler in world cricket while he was playing county and Test cricket, will take part in a pre-match breakfast event at 8.00am before play starts down the road at 11.00am
It costs £40 (plus VAT) per person for a full English breakfast. A vegetarian option is also available.
