Renowned leadership and reinvention expert Sarah Jones comes to Birmingham for insightful leadership lunch

As entrepreneurship in the UK grows, more and more people are finding themselves leading a team of individuals, often without any previous leadership experience or formal training. Whilst learning as you lead does have its benefits, it can force individuals into bad habits without any expert guidance.

With New European research revealing Birmingham is a top-performing city in the Small Business Index 2019, it is all the more important to ensure these leaders are well-equipped. Sarah Jones, Founder of Sarah-J Coaching, is passionate about equipping leaders with the skills to lead and navigate challenges.

Sarah is proud to be coming to Birmingham to deliver one of her renowned ‘Leadership Reinvention Live’ lunches on Friday 2nd August between 12pm-2pm at the stunning Marco Pierre White Restaurant in the City Centre. The event is going to tackle some of the biggest challenges faced by leaders including leading during turbulent times and times of change, dealing with team conflicts and managing performance and maintaining a strong leadership style through change. Not only will attendees learn Sarah’s tried and tested leadership strategies but it provides leaders with a valuable networking opportunity. A lunch is provided alongside the tools and information provided by Sarah. A perfect opportunity for leaders in the West Midlands and beyond to expand both their capabilities and their network in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Sarah’s prowess in leadership coaching comes from her own experience of leading at board-level. Sarah founded her coaching business, Sarah-J Coaching, after a successful career in PR to help people find purpose, meaning and direction in their lives and careers, something which Sarah felt like she didn’t find in her career until her 30s.

After a difficult childhood fraught with economic uncertainty, Sarah was empowered to take ownership of her career and grab opportunities with both hands. She moved to London where she worked up to board level in corporate communications for Exel PLC but she also worked with leading firms in UK, EMEA and global roles for the UK, AstraZeneca, Abbott Nutrition, DHL and Freud Communications on a variety of issues. In her late 20’s Sarah had her first experiences with coaching after she felt unfulfilled in her life and this created breakthrough in many areas. However it wasn’t until later in her career that she realised the true importance of this coaching as it allowed her to live life by her terms, in the flow, full of purpose and achieving her goals – something she now wants to pass on to others.

Alongside this, Sarah is a published author, leading speaker, NLP practitioner and holds two diplomas from the Coaching Academy — the Personal Performance Coaching Diploma, and a Corporate and Executive Diploma (both Merit), which adds to her expertise in this field.More information can be found here: https://www.sarah-j.com/.
