Recover Deleted Texts

You may not know it at the time, but there is a chance that your recently deleted texts may be needed again soon. The good news is that you can learn how to retrieve deleted text messages on your iPhone quickly and easily. Even better, it can be done right there on your smartphone.

Open your messages, then click Edit or Filter (in the upper left corner). Choose “Show Recently Deleted.” Choose the conversation that you want and click Recover. That’s all there is to it, and you will have those deleted messages restored to your phone once again.

Damaged Charging Port

It is a nightmare situation when it comes up: your phone is plugged in and suddenly you see that the connector has been bent or even broken. This can sometimes lead to issues with the charging port. If the charging port remains damaged, then it becomes tougher to keep your phone charged regularly.

A simple smartphone fix will ensure that your charging port can be brought back to normal. Sometimes, issues with the charging port are as simple as dirt and dust. If your charging port isn’t working properly, use a q tip to clean out the port. Check your chargers to ensure that they are intact as well because damaged chargers can do damage as well.

Broken Screen

We have all seen one of those “repair your smartphone” stores and kiosks. They offer to repair cracked and broken screens, sometimes for an exorbitant cost. But what if you could figure out how to repair your own broken screen and save a ton of money in the process?

As it turns out, fixing your screen is easier than you thought. Cracked and broken screens have become quite commonplace, but so too have repair steps. There are repair kits out there that can help you go through the process of implementing a fix in no time. Don’t spend a ton to have a pro do the job when you can get the job done yourself. You will save both money and frustration in the process. Plus, you won’t have to walk around with a broken or shattered screen.

Water Exposure

Another common issue has played out for many people. Whether it be a puddle, the sink, or the nightmare scenario where it’s the toilet, phones fall all the time. Usually, that means falling into water, which can have a deep impact on the overall performance of the phone itself. As is the case with broken screens, you don’t need to bring it to a self-proclaimed professional in order to find the right solution.

The first thing to do is act fast. If water is allowed to fester, it can wind up doing long-term damage that can’t be overturned. Mang smartphones these days are either waterproof or water resistant. You can use rice and other simple solutions to get your phone dry. When in doubt, call in a repair technician to take a longer look at your phone. In the end, you can get your phone back to optimal use before long.
