Fast growing FinTech business, Modern World Business Solutions, has been shortlisted for an award at the prestigious Card and Payments Awards 2024.
The business has been named as a finalist in the ‘Best Technology Initiative’ category, which recognises card brands, issuers, banking acquirers and other payments companies who have leveraged new or existing information and communications technology in an innovative manner to deliver an innovative payments solution.
Modern World Business Solutions was shortlisted in recognition of its unique tech platform, designed to enable self-employed merchant service resellers to have more choice and freedom to secure business. The platform is leveraged by partners to generate hundreds of applications each month across various acquirers.
Modern World Business Solutions was founded by CEO, Warren Whitfield, in 2018 to ‘join the dots’ in the payments ecosystem and improve the relationship between acquiring banks and end merchants.
The business has grown into one of the UK’s most popular providers for merchant services, having scaled by 1000% since launching its fintech platform.
Now in their 19th year, the Card and Payments Awards are the longest-standing awards and leading networking event of the year for the UK and Irish card and payments industry. They are instrumental in recognising excellence and innovation across the industry from a diverse range of corporations.
Winners of the 2024 awards will be announced at an event at Grosvenor House Hotel, Mayfair on Thursday 1st February 2024.
