Mary Stevens Hospice’s Bereavement Information Point supports local community experiencing a bereavement

The Mary Stevens Hospice’s Bereavement Information Point offers information and signposting to members of the public who are bereaved. On Tuesday 15th February 2022 from 10am – 12pm, The Hospice will be running their second Bereavement Information Point of the year.

This information point will be held at: The Mary Stevens Hospice Coffee Stop, High St, Stourbridge, DY8 1DE.

Odilia Mabrouk, Bereavement Services Manager at The Mary Stevens Hospice said: ‘We hope that the Information Point will be a helpful first point of contact for anyone who has recently experienced bereavement or is struggling with news related to impending bereavement. Visitors will be able to have a short chat with one of our volunteers who will then seek to identify local activities and organisations that can help.

We will have leaflets on hand for people to take away so that they can access more in-depth support in their own time.’

The Information Point Volunteers will support you to access information related to your bereavement needs; and find out what is available to you locally in the form of groups and services.

The Hospice would like to welcome everyone from the local community to their Information Point. Future events will occur on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.
