Local estate agent, Homes invites children to get arty for Christmas competition

Local estate agent, Homes is launching a new Christmas competition open to all children aged 5 and under and from 6-10 years old, across its offices in Alton, Petersfield, Liphook and Grayshott.

From today (1st December), local children living in and around Alton are invited to draw or paint a Christmas card design.  The theme is ‘Father Christmas wearing his Covid mask coming to deliver presents to your home.’

The closing date for all entries is Monday 21st December.  Entries can be delivered to the nearest Homes office (Covid regulations will apply), or scanned and emailed to [email protected].

Full details on how to enter can be found on our website https://homesea.co.uk/kids-christmas-art-competition-with-a-covid-difference/.

Homes’s Co-Founders, Rob Price and Charlie Barr will be judging all entries on Tuesday, 22nd December and the winners will be announced on the same day.  Prizes will be awarded to the winners and runners-up in both age groups.  Homes will display the winners’ artwork and others shortlisted their office windows for everyone to see during the Christmas holiday.

Rob Price, Joint Managing Director, Homes in Alton said: “We wanted to engage local families by organising a fun festive competition for younger children.  No one imagined how this year would turn out; for all children seeing adults wearing masks is strange.  We’re looking forward to seeing how the children decide to draw Santa wearing a mask!”
