The West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service has scored a new sponsor for its Brigade football team.
Solution Performance Group (SPG) has funded the new kit and will appear on the shirts for the rest of the season.
West Yorkshire is ranked as the top fire and rescue authority in the region and one of the best in the country. It is responsible for the county’s fire and rescue service, which serves a population of more than two million people spread over almost 800 square miles.
Danny Prue, a firefighter for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, said: “Every player, no matter what your age or experience, wants the chance to play football in a kit that looks and feels great. Playing in the competitions, we’re involved in, we come up against teams from emergency services all over the UK.
“Players selected to represent West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue are now able to walk out against our opponents in the kit SPG has provided, feeling confident and professional. The support SPG has provided the team in funding this new kit has been amazing and is a big part of our push for a successful team that firefighters in West Yorkshire want to be a part of.”
