KEMP collecting Christmas Trees once again

Team members from Linden Homes hold a KEMP Hospice banner

Wyre Forest charity KEMP Hospice will once again be helping with the big Christmas clean up by holding their annual Christmas Tree Collection and Recycling campaign. For every donation made to the hospice, teams of volunteers will be out and about on 12th & 13th January 2024 collecting your real Christmas trees, saving you a trip to the tip and a car full of needles.

Thanks to the support of several local businesses, KEMP Hospice will be running real Christmas tree collections in a variety of local postcode areas between Friday 12th and Saturday 13th January 2024. This year, collections will be made across specific postcode areas in Kidderminster, Bewdley, Stourport, and Hagley.

Steffi Price, KEMP Fundraiser said “We are very pleased to be running our Christmas tree collection and recycling campaign once again. It’s great to be able to offer the service to the local community. We have a great team of volunteers already signed up to help support the collections and help take the hassle out of the big Christmas clean up! Every donation made will also support our hospice charity. We never charge for our care so every penny raised from the event will help to continue our care and support services directly in the Wyre Forest area.”

Countryside Partnerships South West Midlands, who sell under the Linden Homes brand at the Park Gate development located in Kidderminster, have chosen to sponsor the event for the third year in a row in support of the Wyre Forest charity. Adam Sharpe, Managing Director for Countryside Partnerships South West Midlands commented. “We are thrilled to continue our support for KEMP Hospice by sponsoring their Christmas Tree Collection and recycling event again, for the third year. This initiative not only benefits the community but also plays a crucial role in fundraising for the local Hospice charity in the Wyre Forest. We’re very proud to be involved”.

Steffi continued “Linden Homes have been a fantastic support to KEMP Hospice, so we are thrilled they have chosen to support the event once again. We’re also very grateful to the teams of volunteers who are helping collect the trees. We rely on the hard work and support of volunteers to make this event possible and would love to hear from anyone else who would like to share their time with us for this event.”
