Hedges, one of Oxfordshire’s longest serving law firms, opens new Summertown office

Local employee-owned law firm, Hedges, has announced that it has opened a new office in Summertown. The office is the firm’s second in the county and will be home to all its teams, including its growing property and conveyancing teams.   

The law firm, which also has offices in Wallingford in the south of the county, and hubs in both the Cotswolds and London, previously held offices in Prama House. Its new base, located in the heart of Summertown, on Banbury Road.

The new office follows a successful period of growth for the law firm, which now employs 45 members of staff. Its team of legal professionals provide legal support for its clients across all aspects of their lives, including advising on wills, probate and inheritance planning, as well as dispute resolution, family and divorce, and property law advice. 

Nicola Poole, Managing Director of Hedges, said: “We’re delighted to announce the opening of our new Summertown office on Banbury Road.

While we have had a presence in Summertown for nearly 12-months now, the new location will give us greater visibility and be closer to other local businesses we work closely with on the parade. We are carefully designing our new space to ensure it is a beautiful and relaxed environment at the heart of the community so our clients can pop in and enjoy a coffee with our team.” 

Summertown is a vibrant hub for Oxfordshire businesses, with a number of specialist professional services located in the area, including accountant firms and estate agents. Adding to the list of essential services in Summertown will be Hedges’ property and conveyancing team, which will be based at the new Banbury Road office. Hedges’ is a top-rated law firm for its property work and was recently highly commended at the national British Conveyancing Awards for its innovative use of technology in its customer service.
