Saffron Catering are proud to continue with their expansion plans due to further success in securing a contract based on the Birmingham Business Park. Situated within The Crescent, Saffron will be installing a bespoke Deli facility which will be open not only the 400 members of staff based within the building, but also to the general public.
The team are hoping to tempt staff from other businesses within the Business Park with their brand new Artisan style menu, offering both hot and cold food with a range of tasty treats and healthy options. Opening for breakfast, brunch and lunch, the Deli will also cater for all dietary requirements, and by utilising the latest technology for the till systems, it will allow the team to monitor trends and adapt the menus accordingly. The premises will also be licenced so guests can enjoy a chilled glass of wine or beer with their meal, along with a full range of juices, smoothies, milkshakes and other cold drink options. Saffron’s team will be creating a range of sharing platters with meat, cheeses and veggie/vegan options, along with a great selection of pizza flavours. A variety of sandwich and salad choices will also be available, a tasty, homemade Soup of the Day, Hot Dishes and a selection of snacks.
In addition to the Deli service, Saffron will also be installing a Micro Market on site which is a ‘grab and go’ facility for those who are pressed for time, using self scan technology, which will remain open outside of the Deli opening hours. The space will be kitted out with comfortable and vibrant pod style seating creating a welcoming and fresh environment for everyone to enjoy a bit of ‘me time’, lunch with friends/colleagues or to hold meetings in a relaxed space, whilst enjoying our catering.
Saffron will also be offering corporate lunches to local businesses, catering for meetings ranging from 2 to 50 over the lunch period. With a wealth of experience within the events industry too, the team will be working with businesses in respect of all event requirements, including product launch events, seminars, presentation evenings, and also team events such as Family Fun Days, Summer Balls and Christmas parties. Recruiting locally from the surrounding area of Birmingham Business Park, Saffron are keen to keep to their Core Values and continue to give back to the local communities, also working with local businesses for the best in produce. Being an eco-friendly company, there will be a clear focus on minimising packaging and reducing plastics as much as possible.
This opportunity is another success story for the team at Saffron who are based in Appleby Magna, this being the 4th contract for a Deli/Canteen service within business/warehouse premises. Saffron are also successful wedding and event caterers, managing 3 venues in the Midlands and hosting over 100 weddings and private events each year.
