A Stoke-on-Trent business wants to revolutionise shipping processes for their customers after taking on a new franchise.
Ball Green based MP Transport already specialises in delivering temperature-controlled products but has announced they’re expanding into a brand-new area.
They’re now offering their customers the ability to ship documents, parcels and pallets throughout the UK and overseas after buying a World Options franchise.
But MP Transport are pledging to be more than just a franchise – they want to use their in-house expertise and first-class customer service to become an extension of the businesses they work with, when it comes to shipping needs.
The family-firm was founded in 2009 by Paul Dean and has since gone from strength to strength. With a large fleet they employ a team of six and specialise in delivering temperature-controlled goods and medicines, predominantly to the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors across both Staffordshire and the West Midlands. Paul’s sons Craig and Shaun also both work for the company as directors.

He added: “The company is already doing well, and we have fantastic customers. We have the ability to transport goods ranging in temperatures from -24 degrees to +40, so we have a wide client base already, mainly in the health and pharmaceutical sectors but we wanted to diversify and expand into different markets. When the opportunity to take on a World Options franchise arose, it was the perfect opportunity to do just that.”
MP Transport customers will now be able to access an on-line portal where they will be able to get instant access to all the available quotes from major carriers. Whatever their customers want to send and wherever they want to ship, they can choose from multiple types of shipment tailored to meet their specific needs. The system also means shipment details, invoices and documents are all stored electronically – making the process easy, simple and much more manageable.
