A Shropshire law firm is restarting its face-to-face brain injury networking forums with an event in Much Wenlock in May.
Lanyon Bowdler has a team of experts specialising in brain injury cases, and held regular networking forums prior to the pandemic, where people could come together to discuss the very latest developments in the field.
Virtual forums have been held since then, but the event on May 12 will see a return to face-to-face meetings and anyone interested in attending should book now as places are limited.
The Brain Injury Networking Forum will take place at the Cavalier Centre, Bradley Farm, Farley, Much Wenlock, on Thursday, May 12, between 9.30am and 11.30am. The event is free, and places can be booked in advance via the Eventbrite link at https://bit.ly/BINFMay2022 by no later than Friday, May 6.
Laura Weir, an Associate Solicitor in Lanyon Bowdler’s clinical negligence team, said: “Our forums have always proved to be extremely valuable for people living and working with those with a brain injury, and we are delighted to be able to resume these important meetings face-to-face.
“Our guest presenters will be Daniel Thomas from Chroma, who will be sharing an insight into the benefits of creative arts therapy, and the Cavalier Centre will be providing a guided tour of their fantastic facilities.

“Chroma’s short presentation will focus on neurologic music therapy within neurorehabilitation and personal injury, looking at both clinical and cost-effectiveness of music as a treatment modality.
“Chroma is an Ofsted outstanding-rated therapies provider and works extensively with the healthcare and case management sector.”
Laura added: “Brain injury is a particularly traumatic area of personal injury or medical negligence law. The effects of this type of injury often result in the most profound changes to the lives of victims, family and friends.
