Brew//LDN is delighted to welcome the ‘Beer & Cider Marketing Awards’ as part of the event’s 2022 edition. The UK’s largest craft beer festival has joined forces with beer writer and Founder of BCMA Pete Brown to offer the sector an opportunity to learn, network, be inspired, and celebrate. After a difficult few years in the Beer and Cider industry now is the perfect time to celebrate this industry.
Brew//BCMA will be part of the festival’s Trade Sessions, happening on May 5th and 6th at Printworks, in London. Guests will be able to join trade focussed talks and workshops with specialists and hear about award-worthy campaigns from the last year, to see what has worked, what is working, discover new trends and network among those involved and the brewing industry as a whole.
The judging panel (to be announced), will include marketers, journalists, and specialists sharing different opinions and backgrounds. The organisers’ mission this year is to bring diversity and innovation to the centre of discussion in the sector. Therefore, the awards will highlight the best brands in different categories, from the best New Launch/StartUp and Innovation to Corporate Responsibility Initiative and Community Management. After 2 really tough years, judges will also reward the producer who was the best at Overcoming Adversities.
Brew//BCMA will also look at other Marketing variables like branding, public relations campaign, use of sponsorship, etc. “Great beer marketing is an essential part of selling great beer, and the landscape is changing so quickly. Now, it’s not just about the size of your budget – from social media to design, to great PR ideas, any brewer of any size can produce game-changing work, and we want to celebrate the best of it and inspire people to do even better”, says Pete Brown.
Pete Brown began his writing career in advertising and felt he wanted to use his knowledge and experience to recognise best practices and inspire beer companies to create better marketing campaigns as a vital part of selling beer.
