Belgrove’s Hazelnut Rum is now available in 114 stores of the premium supermarket.
Belgrove Rum, the award-winning small-batch rum from the Cumbria-based Cartmel Spirit Company, is now available in 114 Waitrose & Partners stores across the UK. The announcement comes as Belgrove celebrates another award for its Hazelnut Rum: the coveted Masters Medal at the 2023 Rum & Cachaca Masters held in the UK in February.
The British spirits brand’s two premium, single-origin pure Demerara rums – Belgrove Hazelnut Rum and Belgrove Spiced Fig & Blackberry Rum – are distilled from Demerara sugarcane grown on the mineral-rich banks of Guyana’s Demerara River. The spirit is aged in oak barrels in the Caribbean before being imported to the UK and infused with all-natural flavours.
Belgrove Hazelnut Rum
ABV 40%, RRP £30 for 70cl
Smooth, well-balanced and deliciously complex, this hazelnut rum combines rich, toasted hazelnuts with notes of cocoa and vanilla for a unique and refined taste. Serve over ice, with a mixer or in cocktails such as an Espresso Martini or Old Fashioned.

Belgrove Spiced Fig & Blackberry Rum
ABV 40%, RRP £30 for 70cl
Oak-barrel ageing ensures the all-natural flavours of ripe fruit and vanilla are perfectly rounded in this delicately spiced rum. Made with single-origin Demerara rum, hints of cinnamon and honey complement the fig and blackberry notes to create a full-bodied, subtly nuanced spirit. It is ideal for sipping, serving with a mixer, or in cocktails such as a Mojito or a Hot Toddy.
