Award winning Small Batch Coffee Roasters launches new brand style

Brighton based, Small Batch Coffee Roasters have launched their new brand style and recyclable packaging following strong revenue growth of 35% in 2023. Inspired by Brighton’s creative, diverse culture and thriving coffee scene, the new branding celebrates the art and craft of great tasting, speciality coffee.

The independently owned roastery, which is a one of the pioneers of 5th wave coffee set out to diversify its strategic plan to offer their range of blends and single origins to wholesale, distribution and online customers at the start of 2023 and is excited by the growth and recent award recognition.

The company has recently won six Great Taste Awards and a Gold accolade at this years Great British Food Awards. These awards follow the Superior Taste Award from the International Taste Institute earlier this year.

Commenting on the business progress, Managing Director Colin Morrison adds, “at the end of the 3rd quarter our like-for-like revenue is up 35% and we’re excited about the next phase of growth with our new look and commitment to our exceptional tasting speciality coffee. Our recent Great Taste and Great British Food awards are a testament to our teams focus on creativity and quality”.

As well as the vibrant new design, the new packaging is now Level 5 recyclable, which means it can be widely recycled domestically across the UK. It still maintains the freshness and quality of their great tasting speciality coffee. Morrison adds, “we’re actively working on our environmental impact and aim to have 100% of our packaging materials recyclable by the end of 2023. We considered compostable packaging alternatives but believe there aren’t enough means to compost at home in the UK and many compostable options end up in landfill”.
