Mrs Cartwright, is known for her outstanding achievements within the construction industry and her unwavering dedication to community service, emerged victorious as the recipient of the On Tools Community Hero Award. The award recognises individuals who have used their free time, expertise or resources to volunteer their services and better the construction community. Whether that is demonstrating that they are a community leader, through selfless acts of giving back to others or supporting and up-skilling apprentices. The winning candidate will know and fight for the struggles of tradespeople, stay involved and go out of their way to benefit the community as a whole.

Notably, Kelly, is always one to combine style with substance, chose to accept the award wearing a high-visibility dress. This symbolic gesture not only reflects her unique fashion sense but also underscores the importance of visibility, safety, and standing out in support of community causes.

“Winning the On The Tools Community Hero Award is a tremendous honour, and I am grateful to be recognized for the work I do for our wonderful industry. Wearing the high-visibility dress is my way of reminding everyone that standing out can make a positive impact, just as we stand out when we come together to support one another,” expressed Cartwright during the award ceremony.

Kelly Cartwright continues to be an inspiration, both for her bravery and her commitment to the construction industry – as she always says “you can’t be, what you can’t see”. The On The Tools Community Hero Award stands as a testament to her leadership and the positive influence she has on the industry.
