11Onze and Closca join hands to inspire change and sustainability in the community

In the latest testament to the importance of focusing on sustainability when it comes to business, Barcelona-based community fintech 11Onze is partnering with “smart” bottle makers Closca

Closca, a brand driven by sustainability and respect for the environment, has become the latest partner of community fintech 11Onze which will reward its employees with this “smart” bottle which allows users to fill their bottle from 200,000 fountains. It allows users to locate nearby fountains, refill them, and get rewards for not using plastic.

True to its core value of innovation and sustainability and working with brand partners such as Closca, 11Onze is a growing breed of brands fully embracing the important movement around environmental and social sustainability.

The Closca Bottle is the first wearable bottle on the market that eliminates the use of single-use plastics and allows you to combine it with your outfit. It lets the user transport their bottle in a comfortable way, refilling it from the nearest water source at any time. Every second 1500 plastic bottles are discarded worldwide and only 9% of them are recycled. This causes almost 8 million tons of plastic to reach the oceans every year. This collaboration was driven by the goal of building a community that brings the finest ideas into reality, such as eradicating plastic from our daily lives and reducing CO2 emissions by thousands of tons.

Closca has recently also announced collaborations with brands such as ZARA or Scalpers among other international brands.
