Dennie Smith of Old Style Dating an online dating site, came up with an idea of creating a calendar to raise money for the Samaritans. Getting on board her connections on Linkden including members who designed and printed it all.
This year has been incredibly difficult for so many, and the Samaritans need funding more than ever.
Dennie also owns a hair salon which has been hugely impacted by the two lockdowns .
Dennie says “ I myself googled the Samaritans phone number during lockdown I was desperate to speak to someone,my anxiety has gone through the roof this year, but my son walked into the room and I quickly put the phone down. But how many people have contacted them ,they actually save lives so it’s such an important charity.”
The Samaritans say that just £5 per month helps towards the calls for help.
The calendars are just £9.99 which includes postage.
